Dear Sirs:
You don’t know this, but just a couple of weeks ago, you made a friend for life.
Details are these:

On May 8, 2002, I was involved in a small collision in stop-and-go local traffic on San Vincente Blvd. Near Bundy, which occurred when the car in front of me stopped much sooner than I had anticipated. Damage to my car was a popped grill and a banged up bumper embellished with the colors of the other car’s license plate. Damage to the other car was a banged up rear bumper with the colors of my license plate transferred to it in a similar fashion. There were no injuries to either driver, nor to my wife, the only passenger in either car. An appraiser at the first Santa Monica body shop I visited for a repair estimate told me I would have to replace my bumper, total estimated cost: $600 and 3 days to do the work. The second shop I visited told me I would need not only a new bumper but probably a new hood as well, total estimated cost: $500 to $1,000. I related these events to my grandson, a Santa Monica businessman, telling him that I found the estimates excessive. He advised me to get in touch with your company before making any decision. Result: repair by Le Mans to my complete satisfaction and at a reasonable cost, done in less than an hour at your Lincoln Blvd. shop. Need I say more? Only that I strongly recommend the services of Le Mans to my friends whenever the occasion arises. I especially valued the no-nonsense, highly professional approach to my situation shown by Bill Beetley, and I expressed my appreciation to him. Le Mans is fortunate indeed to have a person of such high caliber and integrity on its staff.

Dear Mr. Brenton,

Last month, a gentleman who works in my office building badly damaged the rear bumper of my Mini Cooper S. He kindly recommended that I take my car to Le mans for repair. After calling the Mini dealer in Calabasas and getting a quote for $1,400, I then brought my car to Steve Pleitez at Le Mans. He was very professional and I was impressed with the quote he gave me, which was slightly lower than another competitor in Santa Monica. What sealed the deal was your lifetime guarantee, backed by the fact that Le Mans has been in business for three generations. I called back that very day to book an appointment for January 5. Steve called me that same day (December 23) to say that he was moving to another Le Mans facility, but I would be in good hands with Janet; this was exceptional! And when I arrived on Monday to deliver my car, Janet, too, was exceptional. She introduced me to Jose Hidalgo, who she was training. Like Steve, both Janet and Jose assured me that Le Mans would try very hard to finish my car in three days. On Tuesday, January 6, Jose called to say things were going well and that I would likely have my car back the following day. Today, he called again to say it would be ready for pick up at 2 p.m. – well within the three-day time frame! The purpose of this letter is to compliment Jose, Janet and Steve for their excellent service. They answered my questions clearly and politely, kept me informed every step of the way, and worked expediently to ensure the repairs were completed by the time quoted. Last, but not least, the original quote was for $820.33 and my final bill was for exactly $820! I truly appreciate the accuracy of the quote and will happily recommend Le Mans to everyone I know. My experience at Le Mans was great and I intend to be a loyal customer. Keep up the great work!
